Independent Stationers announced the winners of its annual member sales awards at the EPIC 2015 convention in Las Vegas.  Awards were given in several categories as follows:

Top performing members in Independent Stationers 2014 Federal Sales Program:

  • Outstanding Dealer of the Year:  Ball Office Products
  • New Participating Dealer of the Year:  Ball Office Products
  • Regional Awards: AmeriSys Office Solutions, Schwegman’s Office Products and Complete Office of California

Top performing members in Independent Stationers 2015 National Accounts Program:

  • Partner of the Year: FriendsOffice
  • Region Team Player Awards: Rogards Office Plus, General Office Supply, Source One Office Products

Top performing members 2014 RDC Sales:

  • Highest Dollar Increase: Rosa’s Office Plus
  • Highest Percentage Increase: Kennedy Office
  • New Member, Highest Dollar Increase: Mancon

Top performing members 2014 Direct Furniture Sales:

  • Highest Dollar Increase: iBuyOfficeSupply.com
  • Highest Percentage Increase: Firmin’s Office City

Top performing members 2014 Facilities & Breakroom Sales:

  • Highest Dollar Increase: Sayes Office Supply
  • Highest Percentage Increase: Southwest School & Office Supply

Top performing members 2014 Total Direct Sales:

  • Highest Dollar Increase: Southwest School & Office Supply
  • Highest Percentage Increase: Office Express LLC

Additionally, a new shareholder award was instituted this year, called the Driven to Success award.  This award is in memory of, and recognition of, the efforts and dedication of Bob Nimmo, who prior to his death earlier this year served as Member Relations Representative to the Independent Stationers membership.  Bob Nimmo was a staunch supporter and defender of our members, and worked diligently to help bring them the most value possible.  His high ideals and deep belief in the IS members caused IS to create an award, while not expressly named for him, that epitomizes all Bob did and believed.  Being “Driven”, Bob believed dealers should take advantage of the tools that are available to make their dealerships successful; being progressive in this competitive landscape; being a great corporate citizen with involvement in local communities, and so much more!  As such, nominees for this award have a high level of commitment to and participation in Independent Stationers, their communities and the independent dealer channel.  Six shareholders were nominated for this inaugural award, with Office Peeps of Watertown, South Dakota being named the winner for 2014.
